The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. This role involves working closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality control to optimize production methods and ensure seamless manufacturing operations.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance manufacturing performance.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to optimize production workflows and reduce cycle times.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve overall efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, working closely with production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, track performance, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret production data and metrics. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced with Siemens Energy Tool Control Tracking Program (TCTP) and Tableau software.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
