WANTED: Construction/Fabrication Draftsperson
MRA is looking for a Draftsperson to support the design and production of custom fabrication and buildout of mobile experiential trailers.

Our Draftsperson will work closely with Fortune 100 clients and our talented design teams to bring each customer’s vision to life – translating concepts into details our production team needs to build with the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
Skills and Experience
The Construction/Fabrication Draftsperson is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and blueprints to ensure that all designs are accurate and production ready (feasible) to industry standards.
Essential skills include CAD software platforms and understanding construction and custom fabrication as well as following detailed project schedules.

Key responsibilities include:
Technical Drawing Creation
- Detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software
- Develop and revise engineering drawings, layouts, schematics and diagrams
Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers and designers to interpret project specifications and requirements
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable
Materials and Process Specifications
- Specify materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
- Ensure that all specifications meet required standards for safety requirements
Design Review and Revision
- Review and revise existing drawings and designs based on feedback and production requirements
- Update drawings to reflect any changes in design, materials or manufacturing
Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of drawings and related drawings, exercising vision control protocols
- Prepare and issue final drawings and documentation to production teams
Software Proficiency
- Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) to create and modify drawings
- Stay updated with latest software tools and technologies
Problem Solving
- Identify and address potential design or manufacturing issues during the drafting process
- Propose solutions to improve the manufacturing and efficiency of designs
Education
- High School Diploma (minimum)
- College Diploma or experience (preferred)
Experience
- 3 - 5 years experience working in CAD software
- 1 - 3 years of professional experience (preferred by not necessary)
