Senior Engineer Jobs in Connecticut

A Senior Engineer in the manufacturing engineering industry is responsible for the design, development, testing, and evaluation of integrated systems for managing industrial production processes. Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools is also necessary. They should have a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, and a Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is often preferred. Prior roles that lead to a Senior Engineer position might include Junior Engineer, Process Engineer, or Project Engineer.
