Senior Engineer Jobs in Indianapolis, IN
A Senior Engineer in the manufacturing engineering industry is responsible for the design, development, testing, and evaluation of integrated systems for managing industrial production processes. Essential skills for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer include excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and project management experience. Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools is also necessary. They should have a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, and a Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is often preferred.
